OUT NOW: Judge Dredd Megazine #389
Judge Death builds an undead empire in Dominion!
Behind Nick Percival’s suitably ghoulish wraparound cover, the new Judge Dredd Megazine is celebrating Halloween!
Not only is there a collection of Terror Tales in this month’s bagged mini-trade, but also with a look at the House of Tharg’s latest publishing venture – the Scream & Misty Special, in which a number of writers and artists have been handed some of the characters from the much-missed supernatural titles of the eighties (the rights to which now belong to Rebellion) and given them a new lease of undead life.
Elsewhere, former Scream assistant editor Simon Furman talks about The Dracula File, amongst other things, which has just been reissued under the Treasury of British Comics imprint, and former IPC group editor Barrie Tomlinson (who, yes, oversaw Scream) discusses his memoir Comic Book Hero, the latest entry in the current cycle of 1970s/80s editorial reminiscences.
Plus – Lawless is back, courtesy as ever of Dan Abnett and Phil Winslade, joining Dredd, Anderson, Psi-Division, Devlin Waugh and the Dark Judges.
Enjoy, citizens, enjoy... and please: don’t have nightmares!
Judge Dredd Megazine #389 is out now from all good newsagents and comic book stores, plus digitally from our webshop and apps!
