Created by Pat Mills and Angela Kincaid, Sláine first appeared in 2000 AD in 1983. A barbarian fantasy adventure series based on Celtic myths and stories, the series has seen some of comics’ most groundbreaking art from artists such as Glenn Fabry and Simon Bisley.
Due to its sheer scale, this mighty axe is made from a special multi layered foam rubber, which not only saves on shipping fees but also makes it far safer for display- it could even be adapted for LARP use, as it’s virtually unbreakable!
