A trio of top guests this week as we talk to superstar artist Jock about his new book and looking back at his time with 2000 AD, from his first steps on Dredd to working on the 2012 movie.
Our second guest is the editor who gave Jock his first work – Steve MacManus. We chat to Steve about his memoir of the 1980s golden age of 2000 AD, The Mighty One, which lifts the lid on such a fertile time for British comics as well as the goings on behind the scenes at the 2000 AD Nerve Centre.
And we talk to Pete Wells, the mega-fan behind the 2000 AD Covers Uncovered blog, about his love of 2000 AD‘s covers, examining the process behind them, and what it’s like to be given the official 2000 AD seal of approval.
