It’s finally here – almost 40 years after it first crashed onto newsagents’ shelves across the country, 2000 AD celebrates its landmark 2,000th issue with a special celebration issue!
Producing innovative and provocative comics for almost four decades, it’s the comic that has twisted hundreds of thousands of childhoods – and now 2000 AD Prog 2000 showcases the best of the old and the new as veteran creators return alongside a brand new Thrill!
This 48-page celebration bonanza includes new work from Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke), Mick McMahon (The Last American), Dave Gibbons (Watchmen), and a brand new Nemesis the Warlock strip by Pat Mills (Marshal Law) and Kevin O’Neill (League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) – the first sequential comics work by Bolland for 2000 AD since 1987 – as well as a brand new series, Counterfeit Girl, by Peter Milligan (X-Statix, Hellblazer) and Rufus Dayglo (Tank Girl) and a poster featuring specially commissioned artwork!
Prog 2000 is now available with three variant covers – newsagent customers will be able to choose between covers by Cliff Robinson and Chris Burnham, while a special Glenn Fabry wraparound cover will be exclusively available through comic book stores via Diamond Distribution!
