Biff! Bam! Kapow!

2000 AD is going Kapow! this weekend as the droids descend on the London convention. Held at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London for a second year, the event taking place on 19th and 20th May will be veritably throbbing with Thrill-power thanks to our booth filled with books and merchandise, plus portfolio reviews and a very exclusive competition. The special Mastermind quiz, live on stage from 1pm in the Gallery Hall, will quiz super-fans on their 2000 AD knowledge. The prize? A chance to edit an issue at the 2000 AD office and be Tharg for a day! Contestants will be drawn from the Kapow! audience. After the winner has claimed victory, top creators Peter Milligan, Andy Diggle, Jock, Simon Spurrier, Chris Weston, and Rob Williams will be talking 2000 AD and answering questions. Portfolio reviews with Tharg’s Underling-in-Chief, Matt Smith, will take place on Saturday, with portfolios selected in the morning and the review session taking place in the afternoon. And there will of course be the 2000 AD booth, which will be selling our latest Progs and graphic novels, as well as T-shirts and a VERY LIMITED supply of the new Judge Dredd and Judge Death pint mugs!
