CALLING ALL ARTISTS! The 2000 AD art competition has come to Tumblr – and we’re looking for your entries!

Every month you have the chance to win a 2000 AD graphic novel in our messageboard’s art competition!

Entries must be based on that’s month’s theme and featured a fresh take on a 2000 AD character. Once the deadline passes, fans will get the chance vote on their favourites – but there’s also a special ‘2000 AD Droid’s Choice’ prize picked by a creator from the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic!

You can enter by joining the 2000 AD forum here and posting your entry or by posting on the art competition’s Facebook page here. Entries will be posted both on the messageboard and on 2000 AD‘s Tumblr!

The only rules are that it must follow that month’s theme, all entries have to be constructed specifically for this competition, and though you can enter as many times as you like bear in mind it may well split your vote! No artwork submitted will be published or used as promotional meterial by 2000 AD, except in the context of the competition.

So … staying in the Dreddverse this month – from last month’s Tharg’s Choice winner, Uwe de Witt:

Marlon Shakespeare (a creation of John Wagner & Ron Smith ) is one of the Dreddverses most iconic cit characters. Will you explore his early years as a restless wall scrawling teen? His daring escape from Justice and race towards Supersurf 10? The bloody and tragic events of Supersurf 11? His return to the big meg and face-off with Dredd? Or now, in his old age in Oz?

There will be a GN straight from the nerve centre for the winner, and one for Tharg’s Choice – and there will also be a bonafide 2000 AD droid choosing their favourite entries! All entries will be viewable here, on our dedicated FB page and on the official 2000 AD Tumblr!!

YOU HAVE UNTIL THE 28TH OF JUNE!
