Lawless: The Musical!

Sing-along sci-fi? It’s the musical no-one dared imagine … until now!

To celebrate the fiftieth installment of their Dredd-world frontier series, Lawless, inthe anniversary edition of the Judge Dredd Megazine, writer Dan Abnett and artist Phil Winslade decided to create an all-musical episode as the people of Badrock burst into song.

But then finding himself trapped in the house during the pandemic, Abnett turned comics into chords by enlisting the help of his daughter, Lily Vincent-Frankland, and her boyfriend, Jack Gray, to take the songs from Badrock Melody and make them a musical reality!

With everything arranged, recorded, and mixed in lockdown, this is the first true 2000 AD musical!

It’s Paint Your Wagon meets Judge Dredd – funny, ridiculous, and now available to listen FREE from the 2000 AD Soundcloud! Listen via the player below!

And don’t forget to buy your copy of the Judge Dredd Megazine to sing along!
