San Diego 2017: Dave Gibbons announced as special 2000 AD guest!

2000 AD is delighted to announce that its very special guest for San Diego Comic Con will be artist Dave Gibbons!

Gibbons is one of the key creators in modern comics, known the world over for his groundbreaking work with writer Alan Moore on Watchmen, now one of the best-selling graphic novels of all time and a work that has had a profound and enduring effect on the mainstream comics industry.

He is known to 2000 AD fans as the artist on his beloved Dan Dare as well as Harlem Heroes, Ro-Busters, and Judge Dredd – as well as being co-creator of the blue-skinned genetically-modified supersoldier Rogue Trooper.

With the imminent launch of Rogue Trooper Redux, Dave will be signing exclusively at the 2000 AD booth (#2806) from Friday 21 July, Saturday 22 July, and Sunday 23 July, as well as appearing in a special one-off ‘In conversation’ panel on Friday 21 July.

With con-goers getting the chance to play the new ‘redux’ edition of the Rogue Trooper video game at the 2000 AD booth, it’s a pleasure to host Dave for another great show at San Diego!
