The 2000 AD ABC #134: Wireheads

Before broadband, before social media, and even before your dad had heard of the internet, there was … Wireheads!

Written by Mark Eyles with art by Mike Hadley, Wireheads was a cybernetic thriller series set in a future where the internet has evolved into a vast virtual reality landscape called Paraspace, where you can get and do pretty much anything – but while you’re immersed in this online world you do have to make sure your body is in a safe place, especially if you’re engaged in unsavoury or illegal activity!

Yet the series didn’t exactly gain widespread praise from fans – as Molch-R explains in our latest episode!

Wireheads has never been collected so you’ll need the original Progs, #803 – #811 and #964 – #974.
