A ‘supreme sacrifice’ – new Judge Anderson figure set coming from Hiya Toys

A “supreme sacrifice”, a classic moment of 2000 AD history – Rebellion and HIYA Toys are pleased to announce the new 1/18 scale ‘Hall of Heroes Judge Anderson’ figure set.

Her mind a living prison for the undead superfiend Judge Death, Judge Cassandra Anderson lies entombed in a slab of the miracle plastic Boing® – one of the most iconic moments in British comics made real in the latest in the new range of 1:18 PVC action figures based on the world of Judge Dredd, from the pages of the bestselling comic British comic, 2000 AD.

Based on the original artwork by legendary artist Brian Bolland, the HIYA EXQUISITE MINI Series 1/18 Scale 4 Inch Hall of Heroes Judge Anderson is scheduled to reach stores in the first quarter of 2024.

Retailing at $24.99 (USD), this PVC set comes with 15 points of articulation, as well as a raft of accessories so you can recreate the drama and pathos of the conclusion to the ‘Judge Death Lives’ story from 1981, including a replacement hand, soul chip, a Boing® spray, a Boing® special effects accessory, and transparent coffin with eagle wreath.

Written by John Wagner and drawn by Bolland, ‘Judge Death’ from 2000 AD Progs 149-151 in 1980 is one of the most original and striking Judge Dredd stories, changing the course of the strip’s history as it introduces both Judge Anderson and Judge Death.

Anderson and Death are two of 2000 AD’s biggest characters – one a powerful irreverent psychic cop, the other an undead zombie who has declared that life itself is illegal!

After struggling to overcome Judge Death in his murderous quest to bring his twisted ‘justice’ to the people of Mega-City One, Judge Anderson realises that the only way to stop him is to psychically cage his spirit form in her mind – and then have her body encased in the breathable but impervious ‘miracle plastic’, Boing®. Her transparent tomb, bearing the legend ‘Supreme Sacrifice. Judge Anderson – A Monster Dwells Within Her’, is housed in the ‘Hall of Heroes’ in Justice Department’s Grand Hall of Justice – considered too dangerous to ever open.

Head into the Cursed Earth with the new Judge Dredd action figure from Hiya Toys

He’s ready for the most unforgiving place on Earth – the 1/18 scale Cursed Earth Judge Dredd action figure is coming from Hiya Toys.

The HIYA EXQUISITE MINI 1/18 Scale 4 Inch Cursed Earth Judge Dredd PVC action figure will be available to pre-order from July, and is due in stores in early 2024.

Retailing at $24.99 (USD), the Cursed Earth Judge Dredd figure comes with 16 points of articulation, plus shoulder and joint pads, and chain and badge of office. As well as his Lawmaster gun, formidable daystick, and sets of interchangeable hands, he comes wrapped in his special Radcloak to protect himself from the poisoned landscape of the Cursed Earth.

First introduction in 1977, The Cursed Earth is the irradiated wasteland separating the great Mega-Cities of the eastern, western, and southern coasts of North America. The result of the devastating Atomic Wars of the 2070s, this blasted landscape is populated by mutants, marauders, cannibals, and even rampaging Tyrannosaurs Rex. It is an unforgiving place, where even Judges fear to tread – but if there’s one future cop who can bring law to this lawless land then it’s Judge Dredd!

In 1979’s ‘The Cursed Earth’ by Pat Mills, John Wagner, Chris Lowder, Mick McMahon and Brian Bolland, Dredd famously crossed this seemingly impassable landscape on a mercy mission to deliver a vital antidote to Mega-City Two – on the way encountering blood-sucking robots, flying rats, alien slavers, and dinosaurs revived by science but let loose by the follies of mankind!

Coming soon: 1/12 scale Judge Death figure from Hiya Toys

You cannot kill what doesss not live – but you can put it on your shelf! A six-inch articulated action figure of Judge Death is coming in 2024 from Hiya Toys.

The undead superfiend will be the second in the new line of six-inch articulated figures based on the world of Judge Dredd, from the pages of the bestselling comic British comic, 2000 AD.

Following the announcement of a 1/12 scale Judge Death figure, and their acclaimed 1/18 four-inch range of articulated figures based on classic Judge Dredd characters, the HIYA EXQUISITE SUPER Series 1/12 Scale Six Inch Judge Death will retail at $89.99 (USD).

Pre-order for the Judge Death 1/12 scale figure will be open from Friday, with figures expected to reach retailers in the first quarter of 2024.

Hailing from another dimension, Judge Death is the undead mass murderer who has declared that as crime is committed by the living then life itself is a crime! Judge Death and his fellow Dark Judges are Judge Dredd and Anderson’s greatest nemeses, undead zombie Judges hellbent on extinguishing all life! 

This figure is based on the iconic character design and art by co-creator Brian Bolland, as well as the work of artists Cliff Robinson and Garry Leach.

These hyper-detailed figures feature all-new accessories and materials, including interchangeable heads and hands, and fabric clothing. With 18 points of articulation, he comes with a host of extras, including three pairs of alternate hands, two alternate mouths, one alternate neck, a replacement head, a sinister hourglass, a skull, a human heart, two dimension jump globes, and a trail of ectoplasm from when Death is in his ‘spirit’ form.

Retailing at $89.99 (USD), pre-order for the Judge Death 1/12 scale figure launches on 30 June, with figures expected to reach retailers in the last quarter of 2023.

Judge Dredd 1/12 six-inch action figure coming October 2023 from HIYA Toys

Rebellion and HIYA Toys are proud to announce the launch of a new line of six-inch articulated figures based on the world of Judge Dredd, from the pages of the bestselling comic British comic, 2000 AD.

Hot on the heels of their acclaimed 1/18 four-inch range of articulated figures based on classic Judge Dredd characters, HIYA is to size up the world of Mega-City One to a series of 1/12 scale six-inch figures.

The new HIYA Exquisite Super Series of fully-poseable figures will begin with the ultimate lawman of the future himself – Judge Dredd.

Drawing on more than four decades of ground-breaking comic books set in the world of the classic character created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra in 1977, pre-order for the Judge Dredd 1/12 scale figure launches at the end of April with figures expected to reach retailers in October 2023.

One of the world’s most famous comic book characters, Judge Dredd has been patrolling the mean streets of Mega-City for forty-five years and this dynamic and fully poseable figure perfectly captures his iconic look, drawing on the artwork of legendary artists such as Carlos Ezquerra, Mick McMahon, Brian Bolland, Cliff Robinson and more! These hyper-detailed figures feature all-new accessories and materials, including interchangeable heads and hands, and fabric clothing.

With 19 points of articulation, he comes with shoulder and joint pads, chain and badge of office, boot holster, utility belt, and imposing helmet.

This time you can also play with the legendary visage of the future lawman, as this figure will come with four alternative faces: featuring a normal expression, one of disdain, a toothy scowl, and an open-mouthed shout as he declares “I am the law!”.

He will also come with five pairs of interchangeable hands in different poses, including loose grip, fists, daystick holders, gun holders, one pulling the collar of a recently apprehended perp, and one spraying a can of the miracle plastic Boing®.

In addition, he will come with both Mark One and Mark Two type Lawgiver handguns and a can of Boing® spray, as well as fantastic gun flame effect and smoke effect pieces, a Boing® spray can special effect piece, plus a nine-hole base, a storage base, and a three-section bracket for posing.

Hiya Toys announce white hot B&W Judge Fire!

The latest white hot variant action figure from Hiya Toys is coming in 2023 – Judge Fire black and white!

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to announce another of the 1:18 PVC action figures in the eagerly anticipated range based on the world of Judge Dredd.

Originally designed by legendary artist Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke), Judge Fire is the final member of the Dark Judges, the alien superfiends from a dimension where all life has been declared a crime. Clothed in eerie, lethal flames and carrying his lethal trident, Fire brings death and destruction everywhere he goes!

Due for release in the first quarter of 2023 and retailing at $19.99 (USD), this ‘black and white’ variant of the Judge Fire figure will come with 16 points of articulation, shoulder and joint pads, chain and badge of office, utility belt, and his mighty flaming trident.

This set is the latest addition to the brand new range of fully poseable 1:18 figures due to begin arriving in stores and online from this autumn, and will come shipped in an attractive protective cardboard window box.

Judge Anderson & Lawmaster set – coming in 2023 from Hiya Toys

Even a psychic cop who can ride the astral plane has to get from A to B – the twin-pack of Judge Cassandra Anderson and the formidable Lawmaster bike are joining the new line of Judge Dredd figures from Hiya Toys.

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to unveil the latest in the brand new range of 1:18 PVC action figures based on the world of Judge Dredd, from the pages of the bestselling comic British comic, 2000 AD!

With her powerful psychic abilities and irreverent wit, Judge Anderson is one of 2000 AD’s biggest characters – the perfect foil for Judge Dredd since her debut in 1981 but so popular she soon broke out into her own series. Co-created by writer John Wagner and legendary artist Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke, Camelot 3000), and immortalised by actor Olivia Thirlby in the 2012 movie Dredd, Anderson brings her special power to patrolling the mean streets of Mega-City One.

Originally designed by Carlos Ezquerra when he created Judge Dredd, the Lawmaster is the fearsome motorbike the Judges use to patrol the crime-ridden streets and mega-ways of Mega-City One. With its twin bike cannons it can blow away perps as its on-board computer and artificial intelligence provides everything from criminal records to voice scans and can even drive itself.

Due to ship from Hiya in China in the first quarter of 2023 and retailing at $69.99 (USD), the Anderson figure comes with 16 points of articulation, shoulder and joint pads, chain and badge of office, utility belt, Lawgiver and ‘daystick’ truncheon. The gorgeously crafted Lawmaster bike comes with turning wheels and a turnable front section, while the headlights and computer screen can be illuminated.

He’s the lord of fear – in any colour!

He’s the lord of fear in any colour – and the black and white variant of the undead alien superfiend Judge Fear is the latest action figure coming in 2023 from Hiya Toys!

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to announce another of the 1:18 PVC action figures in the eagerly anticipated range based on the world of Judge Dredd.

Judge Fear is the terror-inducing member of the Dark Judges, the alien superfiends from a dimension where all life has been declared a crime. A single look behind the gothic windows of his helmet visor reveals his victim’s worst fear – scaring them to death!

He was also involved in one of the most iconic moments in the strip’s history – grabbing Judge Dredd’s head and opening his visor, he announced ‘Gaze into the face of Fear!’, to which Dredd replied ‘Gaze into the fist of Dredd!’ and punches straight through Fear’s head.

Due for release in the first quarter of 2023 and retailing at $19.99 (USD), this ‘black and white’ variant of the Judge Fear figure will come with 16 points of articulation, shoulder and joint pads, chain and badge of office, utility belt with dimension jump, imposing winged helmet, inter-changeable hands, and a fearsome mantrap accessory.

The latest addition to the brand new range of fully poseable 1:18 figures due to begin arriving in stores and online from this autumn and will come shipped in an attractive protective cardboard window box.

Created by John Wagner and Mick McMahon, Mean is a member of the notorious Angel Gang and one of the most dangerous criminals ever to plague Mega-City One. He’s a head-butting psychopath with a huge robotic arm and a dial on his forehead that controls his temper – going from one (surly) through two (mean) and three (vicious) before four (brutal). And woe betide everyone if his dial gets stuck on four!
