2000 AD Prog 2229 is out now!

2000 AD Prog 2229 is out now, with more new Judge Dredd, Thistlebone, Visions of Deadworld and Feral & Foe, plus a scrotnig new Future Shock!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS – Prog 2229 is OUT NOW!

Welcome back to your weekly hit of cosmic zarjazness, Terrans, as the crack squad of creator-droids seek to supercharge your reality with the gift of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic.

Alongside the scrotnig ongoing arcs for Judge Dredd, Feral & Foe and Thistlebone, this prog also features a complete Future Shock by Mark McCann and Glenn Fabry, and the start of a two-part Vision of Deadworld from Kek-W and Dave Kendall!

The week that Tharg’s dictating these words to the cowering editorial note-taker/foot-rest sees non-essential shops in England open for the first time in months as lockdown restrictions ease. Many of you Squaxx will no doubt be keen to get back to your regular routine of picking up this Mighty Organ from your local Thrill-merchant every Wednesday, and we sincerely hope that this is the start of the process of returning to something resembling normality.

After twelve months and more of Tharg’s minions being scattered to their domiciles, we will have to consider at some point when to open up the Command Module and bring them all back in. Will be kind of weird having them knocking about the place again…

2000 AD Prog 2227 is out now, with more new Judge Dredd, Thistlebone, Feral & Foe, Visions of Deadworld and Tharg’s 3rillers!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS – Prog 2227 is OUT NOW!

Welcome, Terrans, to another weekly blast of circuit-shattering zarjazness, courtesy of our crack team of creator-droids.

Ken Niemand and Tom Foster crank up the intrigue in the third instalment of Judge Dredd: A Penitent Man; there’s another eerie trip to the fall of Deadworld from Kek-W and Dave Kendall, this time focusing on a pivotal moment in Judge Ava Eastwood’s life; Seema’s investigation of the Thistlebone myth sees her grip on reality loosen in Poisoned Roots by T.C. Eglington and Simon Davis; Battle Sister Evangelista steps aboard the papal barge and immediately regrets it in part two of James Peaty and Mike Collins’ Chorus & the Ring; and Dan Abnett and Richard Elson have Bode, Wrath and Krodgun venture into Golgone the Necromancer’s lair with typically disastrous results in Feral & Foe.

That’s a scrotnig line-up guaranteed to set your sensors on fire!

There’s some grexnixes that think we take unnecessary overload risks with you Squaxx, but we believe you can handle such cosmic energy — and to prove it, next week is the ghafflebette final episode of Sláine saga Dragontamer. Don’t miss it, humes!

2000 AD Prog 2224 is out now!

2000 AD Prog 2224 is out now, with more new Judge Dredd, Thistlebone and Tharg’s 3rillers, plus all new Feral & Foe!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS – Prog 2224 is OUT NOW!

We trust your circuits are fully prepped and your diodes double-shielded, Terrans, as we launch into another zarjaz issue of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic.

While we have the final episodes of both Who Killed Captain Cookies? and Nakka of the S.T.A.R.S — be here in seven for the start of Judge Dredd: A Penitent Man by Ken Niemand and Tom Foster, and the return of Kek-W and Dave Kendall’s Visions of
Deadworld
— this prog features the double-length opening chapter of the second series of Feral & Foe from the Abnett and Elson droids.

The previous arc ended with Wrath, Bode and Krodgun making a last stand against the forces of Haggart Morn, and Bode
released his malchemical energy, causing a huge explosion. They’ve been missing assumed dead since… find out what happened inside!

Fantasy has the occasional place in these pages, but it’s rarely done straight — Sláine, of course, takes its nod from Celtic myths, and Kingmaker mixes its sword n’ sorcery with SF.

Feral & Foe’s irreverent, humorous approach to the genre’s tropes is typical of how my creator-meks like to come at something
from a fresh angle — it’s the 2000 AD way!

Scarred by the experience, Seema refuses to return, even when skeletons have been found amongst tree roots…

2000 AD Prog 2222 is out now!

2000 AD Prog 2222 is out now, with more new Judge Dredd, Durham Red, Proteus Vex, Thistlebone and brand new Tharg’s 3Rillers!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS – Prog 2222 is OUT NOW!

Welcome to Prog 2222, in which you might say we have all our ducks in a row — there’s ape investigations in Judge Dredd: Who Killed Captain Cookies?, sinister intrigue in folk-chiller Thistlebone, sci-fi excitement in Proteus Vex: The Shadow Chancellor and bullet-sprayed bad-assery in Durham Red: Served Cold.

Yep, you can’t argue with that zarjaz line-up — but where, we can hear you Terrans imploring, is Sláine: Dragontamer? Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of the Manco art-droid — smoke pouring from his outlet vents as he raced to reach the deadline — we have had to put the climax of the Celtic warrior’s adventures back by a few weeks to allow for the pages to be finished.

So in its place you’ll find the start of a scrotnig 3riller from Brendan McCarthy and Roger Langridge, a retro-future police procedural called Nakka of the S.T.A.R.S, introducing Inspector Nakrosky of the Space Taskforce Armed Response Squad. Expect murder, clones, killer robots and cream teas in the heart of this green and pleasant land!

Be here in seven, loyal Squaxx, for the explosive finales to both Vex and Red!

The Regened Prog is back for 2021, Earthlets young and old, and features new Cadet Dredd, Future Shocks, Action Pact, Viva Foever and Mayflies!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS OF ALL AGES – Prog 2220 is OUT NOW!

2000 AD might be celebrating its forty-fourth birthday — yeah, we know; that old! — but it’s still feeling young at heart, which is why Joko-Jargo’s Uncle Tharg has handed this issue over to him to assemble another Regened prog, bringing together awesome scifi stories that can be enjoyed by Squaxx of every vintage.

Within these zarjaz pages you’ll find another thrilling case for Cadet Dredd, courtesy of Arthur Wyatt and Davide Tinto, and a brain-frazzling Future Shock from Karl Stock and Silvia Califano, alongside no less than three brand-new strips — the high-octane Action Pact by Mike Carroll and Luke Horsman, the twisty-turny Viva Forever by David Baillie and Anna Morozova, and the explosive Mayflies by Mike Carroll and Simon Coleby, set in the Rogue Trooper universe.

Let us know via input@2000ADonline.com what you think of the pilot episodes and whether you’d like to see more. The reponse to last year’s Department K has meant a full-length series will hit the prog in a few months’ time, so your opinions count, Terrans!

If you missed some of the earlier Regened material, make sure you pick up the first collection, available now, which includes an exclusive Cadet Dredd story!

MAYFLIES// Precious Cargo!

Nu Earth is just one planet among many caught up in a galactic war between the Norts and the Southers. Strategically vital, both sides are desperate to secure it but use of chemical weapons during the conflict has rendered the atmosphere poisonous. Now, soldiers must wear special environment suits to venture onto its surface. So the Southers created the Genetic Infantrymen, bred to be immune to the planet’s lethal cocktail of pollutants. But the gene-engineers are always looking to improve the next generation of G.I.s, giving them specialised skills and abilities — and the enemy is keen to acquire them to make their own disposable army…
