The 2000 AD Thrill-Cast: From World War Two to Meltdown Man with Alan Hebden

From the mad realms of Meltdown Man to the lethal world of Death Planet, Alan Hebden is one of 2000 AD‘s most singular writers.

Starting out writing war comics, he worked for Battle Picture Weekly in the mid-1970s where he created the incredibly popular Major Eazy along with possibly the first ever comic book about the conflict in Vietnam, Fighting Mann. For 2000 AD he wrote dozens of Future Shocks as well as the fantastical Meltdown Man (with favoured collaborator Massimo Belardinelli), plus Mind Wars for Starlord and hundreds of scripts for Commando.
