The 2000 AD Thrill-Cast: Jaegir

This week on the official 2000 AD podcast, we talk to writer Gordon Rennie, artist Simon Coleby, and colourist Len O’Grady about Jaegir, the hit new series set in the world of Rogue Trooper that has just had its first collection released in the UK and US.

Rennie and Coleby’s series flips the coin on one of 2000 AD’s most popular characters, Rogue Trooper, to bring you the untold stories from behind the Iron Curtain of the Great Nordland Republic, his jackbooted adversaries. Kapiten-Inspector Atalia Jaegir of the Nordland State Security Police is charged with investigating and tracking down war criminals. Merging Fatherland with Edge of Tomorrow, Jaegir is tough, uncompromising, and driven – but hated by her own side, the thinly veiled Nazi analogues from Rogue Trooper.

Jaegir: The Beasts Within is another 2000 AD collection being published in the UK this month and North America in late October.

Every fortnight join publicity droid Molch-R on the official 2000 AD podcast, where he talks to the creators from around the globe and takes a behind-the-scenes look at the latest from the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic!
