The ultimate one-page Judge Dredd story – who’s won the latest 2000 AD Art Stars competition?

It’s the competition that gives you the chance to see your art appear in the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, and Rebellion is delighted to announce the latest winner of 2000 AD Art Stars!

2000 AD Art Stars is the online competition where budding artists produce their take on a classic 2000 AD character. Editor Tharg the Mighty then chooses one to be printed in a future issue of 2000 AD – and the winner gets paid for their art too!

To mark the end of 2000 AD’s 45th anniversary celebrations, the theme for this round was the ultimate one-page Judge Dredd story! It requires a mastery of compressed visual storytelling, fitting a complete story with beginning, middle, and end into a single page while also demonstrating artistic skills.

More than 300 worthy entries flooded in but, in the end there can only be one winner chosen by Tharg the Mighty…

Congratulations to the winner – ALAN KERR!

And well done to runner-ups BRETT BURBRIDGE and MICHAEL PRICE. They’ll both get a zarjaz graphic novel bundle!
