Motor racing champion Blake Edmonds had it all – but then an accident left him terribly disfigured and he made a deadly vow – this is his Death Wish!
With just a week to go until The Vigilant hits shelves, we’re giving readers the chance to discover the first appearances of some of the classic characters revived in this brand new title!
Created by Barrie Tomlinson and artist Vanyo, Blake Edmonds debuted in Speed #1 in 1980. A handsome world motor racing champion, Edmonds had everything – until the plane crash. Hiding his terrible facial injuries beneath a mask and with no will to live, he began performing every crazy stunt and deadly job he could – hoping that, eventually, the odds would catch up with him and his death wish!
