2000 AD Prog 2406 out now!

ATTENTION, EARTHLETS – 2000 AD Prog 2406 is OUT NOW!

I am The Mighty Tharg, alien editor of this award-winning, globally acclaimed SF anthology!

Welcome, Thrill-seekers, to the latest pulsepounding issue of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, which this week is a 48-page bumper bundle of zarjazness. Don’t just take my word for it (even though you should, for I am a Betelgeusian being of supreme intellect) — just take a gander at the line-up and tell me your circuits aren’t tingling with anticipation.

Inside, you’ll find a special one-off clash between two 2000 AD titans, Sam Slade and Johnny Alpha, courtesy of Garth Ennis and Henry Flint, following up their Dredd vs Robo-Hunter tale from Prog 2351, alongside a complete Terror Tale from the Whiting and Taylor droids. Add to that there’s a Dredd thriller from Ken Niemand and Dan Cornwell — another sequel, this time to Prog 2267’s story — plus the latest instalments of The Out, Rogue Trooper and Nightmare New York.

On top of all that, we also have the return of Dan Abnett and Tazio Bettin’s eye-popping Azimuth, and the final episode of Brink epic Consumed. But fear not — work has commenced on Book 7: The Call of the Void.

Enjoy, my Squaxx, enjoy!

2000 AD Prog 2406 is out now from all good newsagents and comic book stores, plus digitally from our webshop and apps! Don’t forget that if you buy an issue of 2000 AD in the first week of its release then postage in the UK is free!

Yes, I am a channeller of Thrills — through me flows the circuit-shattering zarjazosity that you experience as you peruse these scrotnig pages. ATTENTION, EARTHLETS – 2000 AD Prog 2403 is OUT NOW!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS! Behold the works of my Mighty Self — I am Tharg, and I bring you the gift of Thrill-power!

A new Judge Dredd thriller joins the line-up this prog as Ken Niemand and Silvia Califano collaborate on Hater, a tale that shows that even though the Apocalypse War was forty-two years ago, its victims are still suffering the consequences.

Elsewhere, there’s more metropolitan mayhem in Nightmare New York, high-octane action on the battlefields of Nu Earth in Rogue Trooper, galactic shenanigans in The Out, and a desperate manhunt in Brink — in other words, yet more circuit-shattering excitement from the most scrotnig comic on the shelves. Accept no substitutes — this is zarjazosity at its very finest!

Also new from the House of Tharg is the second volume of the collected Fiends of the Eastern Front, which you can pick up from all good Thrill-merchants and shop.2000AD.com (indeed, the webshop edition comes with an exclusive new cover from DaNi), and features stories from the Edginton and Trevallion droids such as Constanta and 1963.

2000 AD Prog 2402 out now!

ATTENTION, EARTHLETS – 2000 AD Prog 2402 is OUT NOW!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS! I am The Mighty Tharg, your genial green guide to all that is ghafflebette — welcome to 2000 AD!

The zarjaz line-up that commenced last prog continues in another issue pulsing with Thrillpower, as the plots thicken in Rogue Trooper, Brink, Nightmare New York and The Out, while the Judge Dredd two-hander Silence draws to a close (but the Williams, Wyatt and Lynch droids will reunite for a new story at the beginning of next year). Yes, October is looking pretty, pretty scrotnig from where I’m standing — and since I’m always standing at the threshold of cuttingedge graphic entertainment, I know what I’m talking about!

Alas, such commitment to the very finest in future fiction, brought to you by some of the most talented creator droids to have been constructed by the expert metallurgists of Quaxxann, doesn’t come without a cost — and unfortunately the rising overheads of shuttle delivery have meant that the GGC’s cover price had to rise by twenty pence last week.

But don’t forget that you can save groats by taking out a dual physical subscription, and you’ll have access to all manner of special offers. Check out the deets, my Squaxx, at shop.2000AD.com!

ATTENTION, EARTHLETS – 2000 AD Prog 2401 is OUT NOW!

Call me The Mighty Tharg, ebullient emerald editor of this award-winning SF anthology!

I trust you’ve fully recovered from the galaxyshaking events of last week’s Nordland Rising crossover, Terrans, and your circuits are prepped for another level of Thrill-power — because I’m about to pummel your diodes with yet more zarjazness in the shape of the all-new line-up starting this prog!

Well, Brink continues (I know you Squaxx wouldn’t forgive me if you didn’t find out what happens next…) but elsewhere we’ve got the start of Book Four of the ever-popular The Out by the Abnett and Harrison droids, Garth Ennis and Patrick Goddard reunite following last year’s acclaimed Blighty Valley story for a new Rogue Trooper thriller When a G.I. Dies, the Williams, Wyatt and Lynch droids pick up some plot threads from A Better World in Judge Dredd: Silence, and The Order creators Kek-W and John Burns collaborate on a brand-new historical horror Nightmare New York.

This would prove to be John’s final work as ill health led him to retire, and he sadly died at the end of 2023. So it adds an extra potency to view the last pages of a comics master and appreciate his extraordinary talent…

Nordland Rising! 2000 AD Prog 2400 out now!

ATTENTION, EARTHLETS – 2000 AD Prog 2400 is OUT NOW!

I am The Mighty Tharg, all-powerful alien editor of this eye-popping SF anthology!

We mark another benchmark issue — two thousand four hundred progs! How on Quaxxann did that happen? — with a special crossover event. In previous years, we’ve had the zombie variants of the characters and the ‘What if…?’ of the Battle Action merger — but this time, it’s war!

Yes, in this particular alternate take on 2000 AD history, the Norts, having defeated the Southers, have sought new worlds to conquer, and Nu Earth’s nearby black hole gives them the opportunity to invade multiple other universes. So, just as Dredd and co are fending off the Sovs at the height of the Apocalypse War, a new enemy joins the fray. And it’s not just Mega-City One that’s coming under attack — Bad Company, the V.C.s, Major Eazy and more are facing the might of the Nordland Empire, and will have to collaborate to strike back…

This is a story too big to contain in just one 48-page issue, so it carries on into Judge Dredd Megazine 472 — handily, on sale the very same day as this pulse-pounding prog! So prepare for an epic battle, Terrans, as Kano, Hershey, Jupe and Constanta team up for the very first time…

2000 AD Prog 2400 is out now from all good newsagents and comic book stores, plus digitally from our webshop and apps! Don’t forget that if you buy an issue of 2000 AD in the first week of its release then postage in the UK is free!

Out Now! The Judge Dredd by Brian Bolland Masterpiece Edition

The Judge Dredd by Brian Bolland Masterpiece Edition

Reprinting the immediately sold-out Judge Dredd by Brian Bolland Apex Edition, this Masterpiece Edition is expanded and reformatted for a wider audience!

Acclaimed as one of the greatest artists of his generation for his work on such titles as Camelot 3000 and Batman: The Killing Joke, Brian Bolland’s work on Judge Dredd helped catapult both the series and Bolland himself to international acclaim.

This book includes high resolution scans of original art pages from Judge Dredd epics such as ‘The Cursed Earth’, ‘The Day the Law Died’ and ‘The Judge Child Quest’, as well as Bolland’s masterpiece, ‘Judge Death Lives’. Also included is a gallery of covers ranging from 2000 AD to the 1980s Judge Dredd reprints published by Eagle Comics, which brought Bolland to the attention of American readers and show off his inventiveness and sardonic humour.

This new paperback collection, measuring 307 × 231 mm, follows 2022’s sold out Judge Dredd by Brian Bolland Apex Edition and reformats the stunning oversized collection into an affordable and shelf-friendly paperback edition.

Perhaps the most popular 2000 AD artist of all time, Brian Bolland’s clean-line style and meticulous attention to detail ensure that his artwork on strips including Dan Dare, Future Shocks, Judge Dredd and Walter the Wobot looks as fresh today as it did when first published.

Co-creator of both Judge Anderson and The Kleggs, Bolland’s highly detailed style unfortunately precluded him from doing many sequential strips — although he found the time to pencil both Camelot 3000 and Batman: The Killing Joke for DC Comics. One of the most admired artists in comics history, this paperback edition collects his work in the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic in unbelievable detail!

This new Masterpiece edition features the same original art pages as The 2000 AD Art of Brian Bolland Apex Edition, plus the following extra pages:

  • Starlord Annual cover
  • Prog 77 page 1
