boredom universal, tensions run a knife-edge and crime is rampant. Only the Judges

PANDORA PERFECT

Earth, the far future. While the towering starscrapers and flying cars may make this look like some idealised Utopia, crime is still a major problem, and there’s no felon more wanted than the nefarious Pandora Perez — burglar, safe-cracker, armed bandit and
all-round career criminal. The authorities may think they’ve finally managed to incarcerate her, but they’re reckoned without her loyal robot assistant Gort, who’s succeeded in breaking her out of her cell. With every cop likely to be on their tail, Pandora and Gort are going to have to lie low — plus there’s the problem of her ankle
shackle, which will explode if she tries to flee…

Script: John Reppion / Art: Davide Tinto / Colours: Jim Boswell / Letters: Simon Bowland

FINDER & KEEPER // The Curse of Kreepindeth

Somewhere in the UK, 2020. Meera Hundal and Eliot Hunter are a pair of friends at the local Stonecroft school. Although essentially good kids, they find themselves in trouble more often than they’d like thanks to their inability to walk away from a fight. Strongwilled
and not afraid to speak their minds, their latest punishment was to help with community clean-up chores — and when they were clearing the house of Victorian ghost-hunter Professor A.J. Mortimer, they came upon the special devices that he used to trap spooks. Now in the possession of spectral vision goggles and a spirit-trap, they’re seeing if they can put them to good use…

a salutory lesson in hubris. Anything is possible in these twisted trips into the galaxy’s dark side. Abandon your preconceptions, and expect the unexpected. Now, in a United Kingdom obsessed with mobile devices and videogames, few could’ve expected just
how popular Free the Monkey! would become when it’s uploaded to the Internet. In fact, it takes over people’s lives…

DEPARTMENT K

Div conducts all manner of experiments and develops advanced weaponry. The mysterious DEPARTMENT K is a branch of the latter, whose brief is to tackle interdimensional enemies that are seeking to break through the walls of reality. Ever since Judge Death’s appearance, Kirby and her team have been working on ways to keep Mega-City safe from further dimensional incursions…

Put everyday reality on hold for a short spell, Terrans, as it’s that time of the week again when I and my creator-meks invade your consciousness with the latest issue of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic.

It’s another barnstorming line-up as Judge Dredd finds himself in the hands of the Sovs in End of Days, Cyd recovers from the Tankinar attack in The Out, Cassi fends off Bacon’s robotic army in the penultimate part of The Order, Sinister Dexter return for the second chapter of the Bulletopia storyline, and we bid farewell to Tee, Horus, Cat and the rest as we reach the final instalment of Full Tilt Boogie!

OUT NOW: 2000 AD Prog 2192

Prog 2192 is out now, with more new Dredd, The Order, The Diaboliks, Full Tilt Boogie, and The Out!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS – Prog 2192 is OUT NOW!

First off, an apology, Terrans — those you expecting to pick up the Tammy & Jinty Special this week, which we trailed last prog as being released 29 July, will have to wait a little longer as its publication date has been moved back to 12 August.

But never fear as our droids are here to ensure your Thrill-circuits remain suitably charged — as ever, we have another ghafflebette issue for you to escape into, with the latest scrotnig instalments of Full Tilt Boogie, The Out, The Diaboliks, The Order and of course Judge Dredd, who battles a zombie iteration of a familiar figure from 2000 AD’s past (we know, we know, you wait forty-odd years for a Shako sequel, and three turn up in the space of a couple of months).

The Elson art-bot, fresh from similar Arctic escapades in the Kingdom story in the Sci-Fi Special, gets to bear arms (or arm bears) again for this week’s cover before he immerses himself in drawing series two of Feral & Foe, a sneaky peek for which you can point your optical nodes at on this very page!

Despite the testing working conditions, we continue to make sure my creator-meks are gainfully employed conjuring up new and ever-zarjaz Thrills. Lots of exciting stories to be unveiled before the year is out!

2000 AD Prog 2192 is out now from all good newsagents and comic book stores, plus digitally from our webshop and apps! Don’t forget that if you buy an issue of 2000 AD in the first week of its release then postage in the UK is free!

JUDGE DREDD // End of Days / Part Nine!

Mega-City One, 2142 AD. Home to over 140 million citizens, this urban hell is situated
along the east coast of post-apocalyptic North America. With unemployment rife and
boredom universal, tensions run a knife-edge and crime is rampant. Only the Judges
— zero-tolerance cops empowered to dispense instant justice — can stop total anarchy.
Toughest of them all is JUDGE DREDD — he is the Law!

Script: Dan Abnett / Art: Mark Harrison / Letters: Annie Parkhouse

THE OUT // Part Six!

NEW THRILL! The furthest edge of the universe, far into the future. Cyd Finlea is photojournalist working for the publishers Global Neographic, travelling deep into outer space — otherwise known as THE OUT — and cataloguing the sights and alien societies that she encounters. She’s been doing this for so long, she can’t remember how far she is now from Earth, but regardless she keeps going — just her and her camera…

Script: Kek-W / Art: John Burns / Letters: Simon Bowland

THE ORDER // Land of the Free // Part Nine!

Throughout history, mankind has been under threat of extermination by the Wurms,
creatures from another plane that systematically break into our reality. Defending
humanity are the men and women of THE ORDER, a secret band of warriors that have
fought the entities across the centuries. But time has become fractured, allowing a new
chronology to be created. The tyrannical Francis Bacon now has access to future tech…

Script: Alex De Campi / Art: Eduardo Ocana / Letters: Simon Bowland

FULL TILT BOOGIE // Part Eight!

Out in the deep reaches of the cosmos, teenager Tee — together with her grandmother
and cat — is a bounty hunter/hired help, operating from her patched-together spaceship. Capable and resourceful, Tee was recently paid to rescue the Luxine Prince Ifan from his debtors’ prison. OUT NOW: 2000 AD Prog 2191

Prog 2191 is out now, with more new Dredd, The Order, The Diaboliks, Full Tilt Boogie, and The Out!

BORAG THUNGG, EARTHLETS – Prog 2191 is OUT NOW!

Welcome to our future-shocked worlds once again, Terrans, as we and our droids strive as ever to banish the mundanity of reality by energising your Thrill-receptors with the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic.

Yes, prepare for your imaginations to be mashed, bashed and remoulded as you dive into the zarjaz stories contained within — and with a line-up like Judge Dredd, The Order, Full Tilt Boogie, The Out and The Diaboliks, you better keep those buffers fully maintained or else you’ll risk terminal overload!

As we breeze past the mid-point of July, this would normally be peak holiday season, but given the still present threat of the coronavirus pandemic, travelling remains a dicey proposition. If you’re planning a staycation, you’re going to want to be entertained, so leave it to the House of Tharg to give you a taste of summer without having to cross the globe to find it.

The 2000 AD Sci-Fi Special is still available, of course, but joining it next week is the 2020 Tammy & Jinty Special, up for sale on the online shop and from high-street Thrill-merchants everywhere on 29 July.

With brand-new stories, features, and classic cuts from the girls’ comics stable, it’s ideal holiday reading!

2000 AD Prog 2191 is out now from all good newsagents and comic book stores, plus digitally from our webshop and apps! Don’t forget that if you buy an issue of 2000 AD in the first week of its release then postage in the UK is free!

It’s that time of the week again, Squaxx, when we download the latest salvo of circuit-shattering stories into your reality via the medium of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic.

The summer line-up keeps on truckin’ with the latest instalments of Judge Dredd, The Diaboliks, The Out, Full Tilt Boogie and The Order — a ghafflebette roster that seems to be hitting all the right buttons with you Terrans, judging by the feedback I’ve been receiving — and if your Thrillbuffers have been straining just with the contents of his pulse-pounding publication then they’re about to take another battering as Judge Dredd Megazine 422 is also out now!

The July Meg contains no less than three complete tales — Judge Dredd: Extraction by Rory McConville and Ben Willsher, Devlin Waugh: The Wolves of St Vitus by Ales Kot and Patrick Goddard, and Tales From the Black Museum: The Cackle by Alec Worley and Leigh Gallagher — plus the penultimate part of Lawless: Boom Town, and the final chapter in the Blunt saga.

Everything’s wrapping up in August in time for the Meg’s 30th anniversary extravaganza coming your way in September — don’t miss it, humes!
