“I am the law now — the LIVING law!” Hiya Toys announces Judge Cal 1:18 figure

He’s the madman who appointed a goldfish as his deputy and sentenced an entire city to death for defying his megalomaniacal will – Chief Judge Caligula is the latest Judge Dredd figure to be announced by Hiya Toys!

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to unveil the latest in the brand new range of 1:18 PVC action figures based on the world of Judge Dredd.

Cal was the head of the feared Special Judicial Squad, the Judges who judge the Judges! After staging a coup by framing Judge Dredd and assassinating the Chief Judge, Cal became increasingly despotic and erratic, hypnotising Judges to follow his orders, appointing a fish as his deputy, circling the entire city with a mile-high wall, sentencing the entire population to death, and using alien Klegg warriors to enforce his tyrannical rule. He was eventually defeated by Dredd, a ragtag band of renegade Judges and Academy of Law tutors, and Fergee – a giggling, fly-swarmed, baseball bat-swinging denizen of the Undercity!

Due for release in the fourth quarter of 2022, this poseable figure with 16 points of articulation is dressed in Cal’s Chief Judges’ uniform, including oversized torso shield and cape. He also comes with a scale model of Deputy Chief Judge Fish encased inside his ornately decorated goldfish bowl, and two swappable heads – one displaying the smug grin of a tyrant, the other an open-mouthed scowl about to deliver a cruel outburst that could easily condemn millions more to death!

Cal is the next in the brand new range of fully poseable 1:18 figures announced in November 2021, drawing on more than four decades of ground-breaking comic books set in the world of the classic character created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra in 1977.

Judge Dredd Lawmaster figure set announced by Hiya Toys

The future’s greatest lawman needs a bike powerful enough to patrol the streets of the mega-city – and he’s got it with the forthcoming Judge Dredd figures from Hiya Toys…

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to unveil the latest in the brand new range of 1:18 PVC action figures based on the world of Judge Dredd:the incredible Judge Dredd & Lawmaster MK II Set!

Due for release in October, this gorgeously crafted MK II Lawmaster bike comes with turning wheels and a turnable front section, while the headlights and computer screen can be illuminated. The set also includes a Judge Dredd poseable figure with 16 points of articulation.

Originally designed by Carlos Ezquerra when he created Judge Dredd, the Lawmaster is the fearsome motorbike the Judges use to patrol the crime-ridden streets and mega-ways of Mega-City One. With its twin bike cannons it can blow away perps as its on-board computer and artificial intelligence provides everything from criminal records to voice scans and can even drive itself.

The MK II Lawmaster, designed by artist Mick McMahon and also known as a ‘Quasar’ model or ‘Q-Bike’, was a specialised model based on the existing street version of the Lawmaster but which came with twin side-mounted bike cannons and onboard A.I.. Debuting in the legendary epic storyline ‘The Cursed Earth’ where its formidable firepower helped Judge Dredd travel across a thousand miles of hell on Earth, it then returned for ‘The Hotdog Run’, drawn by Ron Smith, where Judges Dredd and Giant returned to the Cursed Earth with a party of Justice Department cadets on their final training assessment. So impressive was this new design that, on Dredd’s recommendation, it became standard equipment for the city’s Judges.

Coming in June: exclusive Dredd vs Death exquisite mini figure from Hiya Toys

Hiya Toys has unveiled an exclusive limited edition exquisite mini figure bringing the lawman’s confrontation with undead superfiend Judge Death to eerie life – available exclusively through Diamond Previews.

Inspired by the classic 2000 AD comics, this limited edition exquisite mini is available for comic book store and toy store retailers to order now through Diamond Distribution’s Previews magazine.

Featuring a black and white colour scheme that evokes the original comic pages, the fearsome Judge Death curls around Dredd’s legs, preventing his escape!

This 1/18 scale figure retails at £32.99/$39.99, measures approximately four inches tall, and is limited to only 3,000 pieces.

Final orders are due into Diamond by 30 May, with the figure in stores on 29 June.

They are the latest in the brand new range of fully poseable 1:18 figures announced in November 2021, drawing on more than four decades of ground-breaking comic books set in the world of the classic character created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra in 1977.

Originally designed by legendary artist Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke, Camelot 3000), Judge Mortis is a member of the Dark Judges, the alien superfiends from a dimension where all life has been declared a crime – a single encounter with his fetid touch is enough to turn his victims into desiccated corpses!

Releasing in the third quarter of 2022, Judge Mortis comes with 16 points of articulation, shoulder and joint pads, chain and badge of office, utility belt with dimension jump. The figure will come shipped in an attractive protective cardboard window box.

“Gaze into the face of Fear” – Hiya Toys unveils Judge Fear 1:18 figure

There’s nothing to fear but Judge Fear himself – even if he’s only four inches tall!

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to unveil the latest in the new range of 1:18 PVC action figures based on the world of Judge Dredd, from the pages of the bestselling comic British comic, 2000 AD!

Judge Fear is the terror-inducing member of the Dark Judges, the alien superfiends from a dimension where all life has been declared a crime. A single look behind the gothic windows of his helmet visor reveals his victim’s worst fear, scaring them to death!

He was also involved in one of the most iconic moments in the strip’s history – grabbing Judge Dredd’s head and opening his visor, he announced ‘Gaze into the face of Fear!’, to which Dredd replied ‘Gaze into the fist of Dredd!’ – and punched straight through Fear’s head!

New Judge Dredd action figure line to launch in 2022

He’s the the ultimate lawman of the future at any size – Judge Dredd is heading up a brand new line of action figures in 2022!

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to announce a new line of four-inch and six-inch articulated figures based on the world of Judge Dredd, from the pages of the bestselling comic British comic, 2000 AD!

Hitting stores in time for Judge Dredd’s 45th anniversary in March, this brand new range of fully poseable figures draw on more than four decades of ground-breaking comic books set in the world of the classic character created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra in 1977.

The new collaboration begins with two 1:18 scale, four inch PVC action figures – the legendary lawman of the future, Judge Dredd, and his ultimate foe – the superfiend, Judge Death!

One of the world’s most famous comic book characters, Judge Dredd has been patrolling the mean streets of Mega-City for forty-five years and this dynamic and fully poseable figure perfectly captures his iconic look, drawing on the artwork of legendary artists such as Carlos Ezquerra, Mick McMahon, Brian Bolland, Cliff Robinson and more!

With 19 points of articulation, he comes with shoulder and joint pads, chain and badge of office, boot holster, utility belt, and imposing helmet. He also comes with trademark Lawgiver gun, which fits into the holster on his boot, and Daystick club accessories.

Hailing from another dimension, Judge Death is the undead mass murderer who has declared that all life is a crime! Based on the iconic character design and art by co-creator Brian Bolland, as well as the work of artists Cliff Robinson and Garry Leach, the Judge Death figure comes with 18 point of articulation and a gruesome human heart accessory!

Available to order from retailers and to trade from this month, and releasing in March 2022, both will come shipped in an attractive protective cardboard window box.

Dredd and Death will be followed in the spring by 1:18 figures of Death’s compatriots in carnage, the terror-inducing Judge Fear, in April (available to order from December) and the lord of decay, Judge Mortis, in May (available to order from January).

And no Judge is complete with his fully-armed ride – Judge Dredd’s iconic motorbike, the Lawmaster, will be available as a set to order from March and hit shelves in July.

In June, Hiya will launch the 1:12 (six-inch) line with Judge Dredd (available to order from February), Judge Death in August (available to order from April), Judge Fear in September (available to order from May) and Judge Mortis in October (available to order from June).
