Each turn they patrol the board and bust Perps, using their action cards to gain crucial advantages or sabotage their enemies. It’s a cut-throat world on the mean streets of Mega-City One, and if you want to reach the top you can’t be too worried about who you stand on to get there!

PRE-ORDER NOW >>

This new edition introduces the Specialist Judges expansion, casting players as one of six unique characters from across the history of Judge Dredd. Each has a special ability that will change how players approach the game, whether that be the brute strength of the Mechanismo droid, the innate abilities of the Psi Judge, the unrivalled authority of the Chief Judge, the added support available to the fresh-faced Cadet, the brutal methods of the Special Judicial Squad, or the … unique skills of the undercover Wally Squad!

Alongside the expansion, the game features new and updated cards, revised rules for faster play, and recoloured artwork from iconic artists Brian Bolland and Ian Gibson, giving players the ultimate Judge Dredd experience!

Designer Sir Ian Livingstone said, “I’m thrilled that Rebellion Unplugged is publishing my Judge Dredd board game. It’s 40 years since players first had the chance to drive around Mega-City One to arrest the Angel Gang, Judge Death and other perps for their various crimes. The additional rules, action cards and recoloured art combine to make the new edition a game that I hope every Dredd fan will want to play.”

Duncan Molloy, Head of Rebellion Unplugged, commented “It’s a delight to be working with Ian, and a real treat to revisit one of the true classics of British board-gaming. We’ve kept the gonzo spirit of the original while giving it a fresh look and adding new characters like the Specialist Judges, to make this edition a real celebration of the last 40 years.”

Mega-City One. A vast 22nd century metropolis of 800 million citizens, each one a potential criminal. Under the watchful eye of the Judges no one escapes justice, whether their crime is littering or murder.

And now, YOU ARE THE LAW!

Head out onto the streets of Mega-City One and prove that you are worthy of the badge. Bring the Angel Gang, Judge Death, Orlok the Assassin and other notorious lawbreakers to justice. But be warned – they won’t go down without a fight, and even a lowlife sugar-addict can take you out if they get lucky.

This new edition of Ian Livingstone’s iconic game offers the ultimate Judge Dredd experience, with updated rules, refreshed graphic design and the introduction of the Specialist Judges – unique playable characters equipped with powerful abilities to help keep Mega-City One in order!

Future crime-fighting in black and white – Hiya Toys announce B&W Dredd and Mortis

Not everything is black and white – but fighting future crime is!

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to announce the latest 1:18 PVC action figures in the eagerly anticipated range based on the world of Judge Dredd.

Due for release this winter, these ‘black and white’ variants of the Judge Dredd and Judge Mortis figures will come with 16 points of articulation and are the latest additions to the brand new range of fully poseable 1:18 figures due to begin arriving in stores and online in the autumn.

Created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, Judge Dredd is one of the world’s most famous comic book characters. He’s been patrolling the mean streets of Mega-City for forty-five years and this dynamic and fully poseable figure perfectly captures his iconic look.

Originally designed by legendary artist Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke, Camelot 3000), Judge Mortis is a member of the Dark Judges, the alien superfiends from a dimension where all life has been declared a crime – a single encounter with his fetid touch is enough to turn his victims into desiccated corpses!

Due to pressure on international shipping caused by the pandemic dates, the shipping dates for the new range have had to be set back. The new expected shipping dates are as follows:

“I am the law now — the LIVING law!” Hiya Toys announces Judge Cal 1:18 figure

He’s the madman who appointed a goldfish as his deputy and sentenced an entire city to death for defying his megalomaniacal will – Chief Judge Caligula is the latest Judge Dredd figure to be announced by Hiya Toys!

Rebellion and Hiya Toys are proud to unveil the latest in the brand new range of 1:18 PVC action figures based on the world of Judge Dredd.

Cal was the head of the feared Special Judicial Squad, the Judges who judge the Judges! After staging a coup by framing Judge Dredd and assassinating the Chief Judge, Cal became increasingly despotic and erratic, hypnotising Judges to follow his orders, appointing a fish as his deputy, circling the entire city with a mile-high wall, sentencing the entire population to death, and using alien Klegg warriors to enforce his tyrannical rule. He was eventually defeated by Dredd, a ragtag band of renegade Judges and Academy of Law tutors, and Fergee – a giggling, fly-swarmed, baseball bat-swinging denizen of the Undercity!

Due for release in the fourth quarter of 2022, this poseable figure with 16 points of articulation is dressed in Cal’s Chief Judges’ uniform, including oversized torso shield and cape. He also comes with a scale model of Deputy Chief Judge Fish encased inside his ornately decorated goldfish bowl, and two swappable heads – one displaying the smug grin of a tyrant, the other an open-mouthed scowl about to deliver a cruel outburst that could easily condemn millions more to death!

Cal is the next in the brand new range of fully poseable 1:18 figures announced in November 2021, drawing on more than four decades of ground-breaking comic books set in the world of the classic character created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra in 1977.

Due to pressure on international shipping caused by the pandemic dates, the shipping dates for the new range have had to be set back. The new expected shipping dates are as follows:

Prog-ress: new exhibition from Carhartt WIP & 2000 AD to open in London

From abstractions of the work of Kevin O’Neill to a vision of life on The Hoop from Halo Jones, art inspired by the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic is due to open in London in late March.

Work by leading graphic artists inspired by 2000 AD’s legendary creators will feature in PROG-RESS, presented by 2000 AD and Carhartt WIP at the Dinner Party Gallery in London.

Hosted at London’s Dinner Party Gallery, PROG-RESS explores the lasting influence of the galaxy’s greatest comic, with original artworks from Ed Davis, Oliver Payne, Mudwig, Leomi Sadler, Skatething, Gasius, Will Sweeney, Ancco, Hans Berger, and Liv Preston.

Originally conceived for Carhartt WIP’s biannual publication WIP magazine, the brand has invited various artists from its network of friends and collaborators to offer their own unique take on the 2000 AD universe. The exhibition will feature a variety of works and formats, including sculpture, painting, and video.

Launched in 1977, 2000 AD created sprawling, multifaceted universes, capable of synthesizing politics, literature, subcultures, and films. Their weekly ‘progs’ were often set in futuristic worlds, but offered subtle critiques of ongoing political and world affairs, delivered alongside unique, arresting visuals.

For many, the title was also their first exposure to some form of countercultural visual art. Since then, 2000 AD has inspired countless artists, both in spirit and form, some of whom are featured in this exhibition. The comic also continues to publish regularly today, both online and in print.

The exhibition will be open to the public from 12noon to 6pm daily, from Friday 25 March until Sunday 10 April at the Dinner Party Galley, 70 Clerkenwell Rd, London EC1M 5QA

And this autumn, WIP magazine’s fifth issue original artworks by the likes of Oliver Payne, Ed Davis, Leomi Sadler, Ancco, and Skatething, drawing on 2000 AD’s long history of unique artistic styles and subversive storytelling.
